Responsibilities

Translating unstructured business questions into an abstract mathematical framework.
Bring a combination of mathematical model and innovative algorithm design to extract relevant insights from data.
Build solution and algorithm with measurable impact and appropriate verification plans.
Conduct technology research, POC, and evaluation through building models of data mining, deep learning, etc.
Building Computer Vision machine learning and deep learning model.
Optimize the machine learning and deep learning model performance.
Data management, e.g. using or developing data pipeline.
Develop software programs and system integration for machine learning.
Interpret data and analyze results.
Drive ideas for future analyses and technologies.
Work closely with other teams on deployment, system integration, interface to create and convey design solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Operation. Research, Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines; A Master degree or PhD would be advantageous.
Experience in programming & scripting languages (e.g. Python or C++).
Experience in statistical analysis tools, data mining tools, machine learning tools (e.g. Tensorflow, Caffe, Pytorch, or equivalent) is preferred.
2 years or above relevant experience in data science, machine learning, data / business warehouse or predictive data analysis would be advantageous.
Experience in handling large amount of data to drive significant business impact is an advantage.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure would be advantageous.
Knowledge in I.T., computer hardware, would be advantageous.
Good at analytical thinking with solid mathematics and statistics knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, data-oriented personality and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
